2. Service description
Happy & Safe is a dating app for adults that requires passing the reflection passport before an account can be created. It is not a therapy service, not a diagnostic tool, and not a safety guarantee. The word 'Safe' in the name signals that we raise the bar for everyone.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. Therapy with a qualified clinical professional, ongoing or completed, is a requirement. Your stated intent must align with seeking a serious, lasting relationship.
4. Account and onboarding
You commit to honest answers in the reflection passport. False statements (for example fabricating therapy) are grounds for removal at any time, including after account creation.
5. Acceptable use
Harassment, threats, deception, doxxing, and using the service to build a case against another person are prohibited. The app supports your reflection on your own experience, not actions against anyone.
6. User content and photos
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate Happy & Safe. We do not use your photos to train third-party models.
7. Subscription and pricing
Access to the MVP is free for everyone who passes the reflection passport. Premium features may be introduced later with clear, advance notice and a paid plan.
8. Limitation of liability
Happy & Safe is provided as is. We are not liable for the conduct of other users, for outcomes of meetings or relationships, or for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified in advance by email or in-app notice, with a reasonable period to review before they take effect.
